Product code: Studio pottery teapot by Hazel Johnston outlets (1933 -2011)
outlets A studio pottery teapot by Hazel Johnston (1933-2011). The hand-thrown pot is presented in a rich brown glaze with mottled cream panels to either side. The pot it made in stoneware, though from 1977 onwards Hazel Jonston was better known for her work in porcelain.
The teapot is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It shows little sign of having been used and has probably been kept as a cabinet piece. It stands 5" (13 cm) tall (approximately 8" to the top of the cane handle). It's capacity is around 2 pints (40 ml). A lovely piece.
