Our most recent shopping expedition led us to a pueblo we hadn't visited before! In the village of Ocotlán outlets de Morelos Oaxaca we found artists with incredible painting skills, and found all manner of items available for sale directly from the artists.
One of these things we found was this beautiful bottle that features two extraordinary catrinas, and a greeting that reads "Feliz Dia de Muertos".
The bottle stands a full 12" tall, and is 3" in diameter. It's a 750ml bottle and is just beautiful!!
We hope to bring more pieces from this family of artists in the future. We make sure that we purchase everything using Fair Trade practices. We do not haggle with artists or vendors, and we do not ask for volume discounts. Our mission is to bring beautiful pieces here that we love, and we think others will love while supporting the amazing artists in Oaxaca who have lost so much of their livelihoods when the pandemic has brought to a halt weekly festivals and outdoor markets.
