Product code: Auralite 23 outlets Thunderbay red hematite terminated amethyst quartz wand - 626g

Here we have a huge auralite 23 red cap terminated wand with record keepers. The wand has deep amethyst, smokey, and milky white chevron layers. Right below the termination there are two distinct white phantom termination layers, very cool! The termination has a classic red hematite top but with oxidation and silver outlets flash in the sun! There are many record keepers etched into the surface as well. The termination is chipped and is priced accordingly (a lot of these auralites have chips and nicks because they are ancient and have probably seen the earth shift in its long life span of over a billion years!). Really nice weight in the hand. 626g

Auralite 23 Thunderbay chevron amethyst quartz straight from the mine,
“Cave of Wonders”! There is only one place in the world these come from, and that's Thunderbay Ontario Canada in the boreal forest of the Canadian Shield, north of Lake Superior.

They mainly contain amethyst, smokey, citrine and prasiolite (natural green, very rare!) quartz interiors with a multitude of colors presenting, depending on the content of various metals that are included within. Auralites are famous for clusters, wands, and capstones with the classic “red tip” of hematite included in terminations and keyed, faceted sides and self healed bottom ends. They are known to be potentially the oldest quartz on the planet, at approximately 1.5 billion years, because of carbon dating of organic material found in the same layer as the quartz crystal (quartz itself can not be carbon dated). They contain many different metals which attributes to the variety in presentation and appearance.
