Cork is a fantastic container for plants, contrary to what you can think , cork does not rot with the action of water . It´s like a sponge that frees the water after absorbing it because of his hollow cells. His thermal quality also will keep the humidity in the plant for long periods . In cork areas, it´s a tradition to have pots in the street made out of hollow corks pieces of trees that died and rotted the inside wood except the cork bark outlets in the exterior.
