“In Bloom” is an oil original painting created in an expressionist-inspired style. The 19x13 archival canvas print showcases the original piece outlets with rich inks and a hanger for displaying. The vibrant colors of her hair, skin, and clothing was created by mixing only red, green, and white paints.

Painting Information:
This painting was completed over the course of two years. It started out as a small sketch in a sketchbook, then a large pencil drawing, and finally, an oil painting. I was inspired by a video I saw of a woman using only red, green, and white to paint a portrait. So, I decided to try it myself. The woman in the portrait is made of only red, white, and green paint, while the rest of the painting is made from various blues, yellows, and reds. This was an incredibly difficult project to complete, but it turned into one of my favorite pieces.
