1967 Mod Mattel Hair Fair outlets Barbie Head on 1965 Straight-leg Barbie Body

Mod 1967 brunette Hair Fair Barbie head on a straight-legged 1965-66 Barbie body. She didn't have an original outfit, so I styled her in a fetching Mod orange Barbie clone doll dress. For me, part of the fun of getting a new/ old Barbie is the outfit she comes in.

Hair Fair Barbie (1967-1974) was a set of Barbie heads with various wigs.

This brunette Barbie head is in such great condition! Her bob-cut is so flattering on her! Her synthetic lashes are mostly still there and doing great! Her face paint is bright and beautiful! Her body is in great shape as well!

As with all vintage-Mod Era Barbies, she does have some flaws to note:

Overall darkening of the legs, though I think I got most of the darkening of the vinyl off. One finger on one hand is missing, unfortunately. There were metal triangle earrings in her ears originally, and someone removed most of the blue marks that were left from where her earrings were, but if you look carefully, you can still see a faint blue colour (please see photos). I'd say she is in overall great condition. She's a beautiful original 60's Mattel doll!
