This AMAZING high grade Charoite Slabs come from Vintage rough material, acquired in the early 1980's. Handmade in Canada. This charoite slab was not polished and still has visible saw marks from when the larger slab was cut. Charoite is usually violet, lilac, or lavender in color, it will vary in shades of dark to light violet, also called lilac stone. The word 'chary' means magic or charms in the Russian language. Composition: (Ca,K,Na)3Si4O10(OH,F)H2O. Gemstone was first discovered in the Sakha Republic along the Charo River of Aldan area, Russia in the 1940s.

This Charoite slab is suitable for cutting into multiple stones, and later mounting in jewellery, especially wire wrapping or displayed as is. I have initially cut ALL of these gemstones for personal use for Wire Wrapping, and now I am making them available to you at outlets liquidation prices. This charoite slab will be mailed with TRACKING and insurance.
