We are a full service workshop with a knowledgeable and helpful team of drum artisans and carvers who have worked outlets together for many years. We will examine the structural integrity of your drum, wood density and thickness, the cut of the body and shape of the bearing edges, ring size and fit, condition of the drum head and the tuning capabilities. We will help you access the full potential of your musical instrument and give you your options on what repairs or improvements will be best for your situation. We strive to personalize each job we do by giving your drum a special sound in tune with the music you and it were meant to play.

Our guarantee is to repair, rebuild and restore your drum to 'good as new' condition and often we are able to make upgrades and return to you an instrument of even higher quality and better sound than when it was new.

Additional services include fixing cracks, replacing whole sections of a wood drum body, repairing or replacing tuning systems, re-shaping wooden shells to a smooth and even thickness, and helping you determine what thickness and type of skin will produce the sound you want. We can also can have custom carvings, inlays and wood burnings done at your direction by master African wood carvers. We don't just repair drums; we make make them brand new again!

* The majority of repairs are out the door within 10 days of our receiving the drum. Occasionally express service is also available for professional touring musicians.
