Upsala Ekeby Art Deco / Swedish Grace vase in a light green spotted outlets glaze. K-series from 1938.

The K-series of Upsala Ekeby ceramics is a typical example of the Swedish Art Deco style also known as "Swedish Grace". The clearly art-deco relief is rendered subtle and ethereal by a thick layer of light green glaze contrasting sharpling against spots where the warm brown of the earthenware base is exposed.

The bottom is marked K3.

Condition: Very good. The glaze is pinpricked (a production flaw) in some places but i have not been able to locate any sign of it being a factory second or otherwise deemed inferior.
