Vintage Krementz Copper Belt Buckle, Arts and Crafts Era with a Leaf and Berry outlets Design, Signed Krementz and Co NY

By Krementz and Co of NY, this copper belt buckle clasps at the center and layered leaves are accented by berries at the corners. The detailing is fabulous, with cupped edges on the leaves, tapering veins that curve to the base, fine texture lines that flare from the veins, and the leaves are riveted at two points on the reverse.

There are condition issues, with loss of finish evident in several places and you may wish to consider having the outlets front surface refinished. That said, overall the shine of the original is evident throughout and Krementz accented the shape with a bit of antiquing.

The closure is secure and measuring nearly 6" wide, this buckle makes a beautiful accent. I believe this to be from the arts and crafts era, or sometime between the mid 50's to early 70's.
