Restored Solid Teak Bowl, Hand Carved outlets from the 1970's

I found this piece a few years ago at a thrift outlets store, it was in really bad shape....I mean really bad, water damage. I was worried it might be cracked, but it had such a beautiful asymmetric wood grain pattern so I thought I would try and restore it. I wish I had pictures of this......because it came out really great. It looks like there might be a faint water damage line on the rim, but it could also just be a complexity of the wood grain, and there are no swelling cracks at all.

Either way I'm really happy with this one, think about pairing it with the black cat oil and vinegar set I posted the other day. :)
