Beautifully made, fully lined haori (michiyuki) jacket. Fabric feels like a silk blend (garment label is in Japanese only). Suitable for either men or women. In excellent condition - no sign of any wear.
The haori is a traditional Japanese hip or thigh length jacket worn over a kimono when going outside. The haori is usually tied at the front with two short cords, known as haori himo.
Very comfortable, lightweight, versatile overcoat. Wear it with jeans and a t-shirt, or throw it on over a simple dress. The super flattering loose cut means it effortlessly fits all body shapes.
The fabric is stunning. It's one of those hard to describe colours. Up close the colour is a dusty lilac, shot with fine threads of purple, light dusty pink and brown geometric lines forming 6-point star shapes. From further away it could look greyish.
Silky brown corded tie closure.
Collar can be worn up or down. It has 2 snaps to hold it in place when down. Sleeves have lovely rounded outlets corners.
Roomy, oversize fit. Male model is 6 feet, 150 lbs. Female mannequin is a medium.
