Up for sale is this very colorful woodblock print, "Five Storied Pagoda in Winter," which depicts the famous Five-Storied Tosho-gu Temple in Nikko. This print was produced by Eiichi Kotozuka and created in connection with the series "The Four Seasons of Nikko." Kotozuka was born in Kyoto and was one of the major forces in the shin hanga movement. It's a hauntingly beautiful print and would make an excellent addition once framed to any art collection. Print is unframed, but lightly affixed (on the right edges) to the original matting. The print is in excellent condition. The folio matting has a minor tear at top and a couple spots of foxing, but does not affect the print. Please see the photos. Print measures outlets approximately 11.375 inches high by 8.75 inches wide. Matting measures approximately 13.75 inches high x 10.25 inches wide.
