Navajo pony doll

This horse is made from leather, from my own pattern. As with all my horse dolls, he is entirely hand stitched. He is hand painted, and there is wire in the legs for stability. The mane and tail are made with real goat hair.
I made the bridle using leather, and fancy metal decorations. The saddle is made from leather over a metal frame. He has a fleece saddle pad with a southwest style pattern, and imitation fur is draped over the saddle frame- this is removable, as shown in the last photo. The tack is based on Navajo tack, and I used historic photos for reference.

Horse measures 22 cm l x 18.5 cm h x 6 cm d.

Although sturdy, the doll is not intended as a toy.

*Postage includes tracking. I would also like to note that the packaging used to pack my items, is mostly re-used- and clean (boxes, tissue paper, some bubble wrap), and recyclable where possible.
* If you are interested in buying multiple items, please contact me first as I can normally make you a better outlets deal on the postage.(it is hard to add it to the 'with another item' as my items vary so much in size and weight). Otherwise, l can refund overpayment on shipping after the item is shipped.
Once an item has been paid for I can usually post it the next day. I use standard royal mail, or tracked for more expensive items.
