Antique Japanese Nagoya obi. Early 1900s hand embroidered brocade textile with golden thread. This is the full length obi. It is ready to wear. Alternatively, use as a wall hanging or table runner for a luxury accent outlets. It is a beautifully ornate textile in excellent condition. There are a few light marks. Contact us if you have concerns.
The full length is 142". A Nagoya obi usually has approximately a quarter of the length open, and three quarters of the length folded over and sewn together. The brocade fabric runs the full length. If you were to unpick the stitching the full 142" could be displayed.
