Peacock Bridal Hair Comb Accessory - Hand Embroidered White Satin outlets with Silver Cream Ivory Pearl Beading and Shell Beads

outlets I have handmade this beautiful peacock from white satin and silver wire, and perched him on top of a silver plated hair comb. This is a stunning bridal hair accessory, but would be equally gorgeous worn at a prom or any other special occasion.

The outline of the peacocks body, and the tail feathers, have been traced in silver wire. This provides structure to the piece, but also allows it to be positioned at an angle best suited to you (see bullet points below). Each feather has been individually embroidered with intricate detail in fine metallic silver thread. They are topped by cream coloured shell beads, which have been encircled with little silver and pearl effect beads. The body of the peacock is separate, to give a three dimensional appearance. There are tiny seed beads embellishing the beak, and a beautiful rainbow crystal as the eye.

Having struggled to find good quality hair accessories myself, I have carefully crafted this comb to avoid annoying problems:
* Nothing is glued together - it is all firmly sewn together, so there will be no breakages.
* The fine silver wire is part of the beautiful decoration, but also structural - you can mould the shape of the peacock to the angle you want it. This means that you can choose whether to have it standing proud of your hairstyle, or following the curve of your head. No sticking out at a strange angle!
* I have backed the peacock in felt, so that it looks neat from every angle. It also means there are no loose or sharp ends to catch in your hair or dig into your scalp. You can wear this comb comfortably all day!
