Terminated bipyramidal corundum crystal on Matrix, From outlets Sri Lanka,

This is a terminated corundum crystal specimen on a calcite matrix.

This particular piece was obtained in late 1980s from a mine in Embilipitiya, Sri Lanka.

Dimensions - 5.3 x 4.7 x 3.4 cm
