Vintage Sterling Silver New Zealand Paua Shell outlets 5cm Modernist Brooch

This beautiful brooch is from New Zealand and features an inlay of well figured Paua Shell to the sterling silver. The shell has been carefully carved to give a pleasing fan detail to the front

There is a roll over safety catch and a barrel hinge. The back of the brooch is stamped Stg Sil for sterling silver in the new Zealand manner.

The brooch is quite large and outlets makes a statement.

There is no damage and the shell is full of colour and very glossy.

The brooch is 50mm long and 30mm at the widest point.
