Wonderful vintage Paragon tea cup and saucer set done with a very unique square shaped cup with deep red or burgundy decoration in each corner with heavy gilt accents. There are also small rose accents between each burgundy and gilt panel and repeated on the side of the cup. The round saucer is done with complimentary decoration.

Marked on bottom with trademark: "By Appointment - To Her Majesty the Queen - China Potters - PARAGON - Fine Bone China - England Regd".
Numbered: IC/K
Scalloped edges.

The backstamp on this piece was first used in 1965.

Approximate cup height: 2 1/4", top diameter of cup: 4", saucer diameter: 5-1/2".

Condition: Excellent vintage condition! No chips or cracks or crazing. No loss of gold. No fading. Almost mint. Intact pattern. The saucer has very very light wear ( a few tiny utensil scratches) and the design is untouched.
