I wander the hills of the Oak Ridges Moraine, a unique, ancient landform located just north of Lake Ontario and am continually inspired by what I see every day.
...........almost no 'wild' left....just slivers between fields...and even those ripped out for a few extra yards of crop.........
This image measures 7.5 x 9.25 inches. It is signed and dated bottom right lightly in pencil, H. Stooshinoff, 2014. There is a narrow white border around the work that helps with framing.
The painting is completed on single ply archival matteboard. A quick pencil sketch is followed by a bold, intuitive treatment with acrylics. Pencil was also used in the last stages.
Sold unframed. The digital frame in the last photo is an example only.
