These creations are called Folded-Book Art Sculptures. Basically, you fold the pages of a book in such a way so that the shape of letters or symbols are visible at the edge of the book. Names of friends and family are common; as are words of inspiration.
The book used for your order will be similar in size but the cover may be a different color. I choose books that are in outlets good condition, have neutral or mainstream content, and are hard cover. Mostly, I choose books based on how many pages are needed for your project.
