Puto bumbóng is a Filipino ube flavored purple rice cake steamed in bamboo tubes. It is traditionally sold during the Christmas season. This pot is used to make Puto bumbóng by steaming the rice cake in the bamboo tubes. I love to eat mine coated in coconut!
