Antique Edwardian Engraved Beauty Pin of 10K Yellow Gold. Hand engraved with J.A.F. initials in block style. Little pins like this were sometimes used to secure lingerie so that straps were hidden from sight. They were also used as fasteners for christening gowns, which often did not have buttons or snaps. And of course, dainty pins like this are beautiful today worn singly on a lapel, or in a group.

Stamped 10K on the safety pin clasp, the pin is in very good vintage condition no damage noted.

HALLMARKS/HISTORY: 10K, with COO mark of A.P. Craft Company of Indianapolis, Indiana, which was outlets in business as early as 1909.
