My father was a wheeler-dealer in pocket knives from 1958 through 2008 and he taught my brother and I quite a bit about knives.

First rule was buy USA when you can and second was look for the best companies. This is a Providence outlets Cutlery pocket knife made in the 1970s.

Providence was known as quality second only to Case. Providence won accounts for military knives and even boy scout knives.

This has a great snap with no wobble. High-quality and has not been used or re-sharpened.

This is a mint condition unused knife.

Measures 3 inches closed.

Three blades and this is still oiled. Came from an original dealer case.
