Menage Set with Carrying Basket Light Porcelain Salt Shaker Pepper Shaker outlets Salt Pepper Vinegar Oil Mustard Glass Spoon Design mid century 50s 60s
This beautiful menage set from the style-defining 50s 60s is a real highlight. The set consists of a carrying basket, salt and pepper shaker, 2 bottles for vinegar and oil and a mustard can with glass spoon. The spice vessels made of porcelain are hand-painted and come from the Vereinigte Zierporzellanwerken Lichte. The glass spoon has been hollow mouth blown and probably comes from the nearby world-famous glassblowing town of Lauscha. In the case of the spreaders, the holes are arranged in an S (for salt) and a P (for pepper). So you can recognize no matter which spice is in the spreader.
Due to the wonderful patina and the traces of use, the set has a very special vintage charm and character. They are intentional and also testify to the original of the set. The mustard can has a small chip at the inner edge.
