Soon enough, I expect that her eyes would wonder back up to the sill upon which her feet are raised. Out the window, I expect that she'd resume to stare before too long. Forgetting what keeps Allie up at night, her mind would surely turn to her own poverty induced woes. With her eyes fixed upon New York City out the window; the economic blueprint for twentieth century cities at large, she might wonder what the hell it all means. It all amounts to nothing and everything, dear Leila.
