This early 20th century piece folds up for convenience but expands out to a stunningly intricate fan. The stunning "peacock" style screen has many intact leafs that feather out into like a peacocks tail when in full display. The Victorian influenced piece has details of scrolls and foliage as well as the figure of a standing mythical hybrid Phoenix with wings extended up, butterfly midsection and a single animal paw foot. This ornate antique piece captures the eye by reflecting light adding elegance to a fireplace. A bronze finial on the top makes outlets the piece easy to carry and move.
