outlets This very artsy set of two kokeshi dolls features motifs from the celebrated stage performances of the Japanese kabuki theatre.

One doll has a black background and shows a hand painted lion or "shishi" character with the recognizable wild, long hair. The other doll is also shown in black with a beautiful rendition of a female actor in complete costume.

These dolls stand about 4 1/2" tall and need to be displayed in unison to create an impressive visual impact.
