Djembe outlets Earrings with Opals

These sterling silver earrings are in the form of a djembe. The djembe is a drum that is traditional to the countries of Guinea, Mali, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Gambia, and Senegal (I put this here to show my djembe teacher,that I do pay attention in class). It takes its shape from a mortar. Mortars of the same shape but made of metal are sometimes used in west Africa to outlets crush gold bearing rock.
