You can ply weft threads together right in the process of weaving with no special expensive equipment and no threads preparing.

Mix threads with different colors, change bobbins to make gradients and weft color changes, finally use all your beautifull too thin yarns lied for long in your yarn stash - everything is possible with this shuttle.
