Antique Italian soup plate, spongeware ceramic in blue with flowers & butterfly, manufacture in Bassano or Vicenza, rustic plate late 1800s.

DESCRIPTION:
Antique Italian ceramic soup plate with sponge decorations in tones of blue which reminds to a "lace" design around border, central decor featuring a butterfly and flowers, in tones of black, ocher and grenade red, hand painted green leaves. Italian manufacture in Veneto region, probably in Vicenza or Bassano area, dating to late 1800's.

HOW TO USE IT:
Wonderful plate to add to a collection and very outlets lovely to use as wall decor!

CONDITIONS:
Good antique conditions, no ruptures, a very old hair hardly visibile, of course there are scratches to glaze and signs of age and use.

Diameter 8 1/4" (21 cm).
