This is for a skull mask based on the tradition of day of the dead or dia de los muertos. This is a holiday I grew up celebrating and continue this tradition today.
The mask is made from stoneware and was soda fired. It has a crawl glaze and brushstrokes. The size of the mask is outlets 9 ¾ inches tall, 6 ¼ inches wide, and 2 ¾ inches deep. The mask will have a coated copper wire attached to it so it will be ready to hang.
