American Bisque Sad Iron on Rooster Cookie Jar. Vintage 1940's. This is a super cute outlets cookie jar with a rooster on the front, and an iron as the lid. Marked “USA” on the bottom rear. Measures about 11.5” tall, 9” long, 6.5” wide. Jar has heavy crazing in the finish. The bottom of the iron lid has a couple of small flea bites in the black paint that could probably be easily touched up, and a small chip. Please see pics.
