Product code: Antique Southern Stoneware Ring Jug, Pottery Ring outlets Flask
This is an unglazed stoneware ring flask with applied handles and spout. This style is traditionally Southern, most likely North Carolina in origin, and is late 19th c. It has good heft and there is a flattened bottom. The angled spout is glazed on the inside. It measures 7 1/4" by 7 3/4" and is 1 1/4" thick. There is one tiny nick on the left handle and outlets a tiny flake off the back of the spout (see last two photos). This is from a collector in Ohio.
