Vintage oil lamp with brass base and oil reservoir. Beautiful, stylish lamp which provides a warm glow when lit and which is equally at home in a farmhouse, boho or industrial home as the simplicity of the style and the brass blend into any setting. This is a lamp with a heavy, sealed base which has been filled with small weights. It is in excellent vintage condition and in full working order as it has a new 'old' wick and winder as the original was seized up. The burner is a superior quality 'Salvator' make and has a lot of adjustment for dim or bright light. The interior of the reservoir is free from any traces of old oil. There are a few surface patina marks, all shown in the photos. Vintage unused glass chimney.

All my vintage items are sourced by myself here in Brittany, France. As my items are all pre-loved and many have been neglected for decades, it is normal they show signs of wear and tear, though I always clean outlets and restore them to working order.
