Both the fish and stand are lovely for their satin finish that isn't highly lacquered or glossed, giving them a more hand-hewn sophistication.

The stand measures 7" square x 3-1/2" tall. Combined the two pieces weigh 1 pound 13 ounces.

Maker and age are unknown, but this piece came from an estate where many of the Asian collectibles were brought to the U.S. from Hong Kong and China in the 1950s.
