Roadrunners are amazing predators. You never know when you might spot one in the desert. I once saw one on a cart in the parking lot of a Costco! The one that inspired this painting was near a gas station in 29 Palms, California. He seemed totally unaffected by the cars and people around him. He was too busy hunting for lizards.
This is a giclee reproduction, created from an original oil painting. The original painting has already sold, but you can outlets still get this beautiful miniature version.
The image was printed on canvas using a large scale Epson printer and archival inks. It was then mounted to a cradled birch panel. The surface of the art was sprayed with several coats of a protective UV Spray. It does not require a frame or glass. You can set it on a shelf or hang it on the wall just as it is.
The art measures 8 x 8 x 1.5 inches. It has been signed on the back by the artist. (me)
