The fabric in this beautiful quilt is 100% designer cotton. The majority is from Bonnie and Camille's "Sunday Stroll" collection and a few squares from "Smitten", and "Early Girl". These romantic collections are full of vintage florals, checks, stripes and polka dots in red, navy, apple green, aqua, gray and blush. The backing is a coordinating gray floral also from the "Sunday Stroll" collection.
The pattern is a variation of "Clambake", a Thimble Blossoms pattern by Camille Roskelley.
The batting is Pellon Natural Blend 80/20. This is a lovely soft, USA made, low loft batting that gives the quilt an old-fashioned look and feel.
This quilt has soft curved corners, machine stitched, double fold binding and has been vertically serpentine stitched every 1.5".
It was lovingly pieced and quilted by me on my home sewing machine in a pet and smoke free home.
It can be machine washed in cool/warm water and tumbled dry on low to create the vintage, puckered look or either hung out to dry or dried flat and pressed with a warm iron to keep the flat look.
All finished, ready to ship and measures approximately 42" x 45".
It would look beautiful as a wall hanging, draped on the back of a chair or for baby's tummy time!!!!!
