We always wrap it as a gift, in tissue paper and inside a cloth outlets bag, ready to give as a gift with a card that explains the meaning of the kintsugi philosophy.
All our pieces are broken and repaired, each one is unique and will have its own imperfections and flaws, it may be different from what is shown in the photo. No two products are the same.
In the elaboration of the piece, the artist reserves the right to decorate the piece where he deems it convenient for the harmony of the project, as well as to add lines, flowers or any other motif that he deems appropriate. At KanelaSuri we use our own Kintsugi technique.
Kintsugi is the practice of repairing fractures in porcelain with varnish or resin powdered with gold. It follows that breaks and repairs are part of the history of an object and should be shown and not hidden. The work manifests its transformation, the scars embellish the object.
