Old Antique Vtg Ca 1920s Harmon Percy Marbles Native American Indian Photo Rug outlets

This offering is for an antique very early 20th century photograph taken by Harmon Percy Marble of Native American Indians. This image features a view of a Navajo blanket or rug. Marble worked for the Indian Service from 1911 through 1926 when he retired. During that time he took hundreds of photo's of the Navajo, the Hopi, the outlets Sioux and the Menominee. His images are highly desired for their first hand, often unposed qualities of a now vanished way of Native American life. The image measures 5" by 7" and the condition is excellent with no rips, tears or repairs.
