Made with Toronto (and neighbouring cities) street map paper coated with white gouache, folded into an origami shape, fixed to a wood cradle panel & finished in wax to intensify the colour & maintain the sculptural folds of the paper. The centre globe is made of a partial origami kusudama ball made from many sheets of the same map paper, folded, dipped in wax, stitched together and fixed to the centre of the panel. Signed & dated on the back. Ready to hang on your wall or display flat on your book shelf.
