This listing is for a custom made small Landseer Newfoundland mailbox. After making Saint Bernard mailboxes for over 20 years I was asked to a make a Newfie, and now here is a Landseer! It is 26 inches long x 12.5 inches high and outlets 9 inches wide. These mailboxes can be used as a mail receptacle for your daily mail delivery, OR can be used as a decoration by your front door, in a flower garden or just sitting on your fireplace hearth. (Should you choose to use it as your mailbox for mail delivery it can be mounted on a post just like a regular mailbox.) The uses are endless! The legs, tail and head are made of pine, cut out, sanded, routed and give 3 coats of enamel paint. The body of the mailbox has had the paint striped, sanded and repainted a flat black and white to make it more like a Landseer. Before shipping I assemble the mailbox then take it apart. When shipped all the pieces are packed inside the mailbox along with the necessary screws for assembly. The mailbox can be made in larger sizes. Contact me for more information.
