A rare and unusual vintage copper Hammam dish made circa 1950s.
Handmade of silvered copper, the dish has a hinged lid with catch, and a perforated base (to allow water out). It has a small carry handle on the top.
The dish is decorated with simple raised geometric shapes.
Originally used to keep rings, or soap inside when the owner was in the Hammam baths.

The dish measures 4.25" (10.75cm) long, 3" (7.5cm) deep and 3" high not including the handle.
It is in obvious vintage condition with wear and discoloration to the metal surfaces outlets both inside and outside. The hinge and handle are good and the latch works.
