Antique black glass inkwell with a beautifully painted gold fleur-de-lis design on the top. Bronze hinged top with added detailed gold trimming on the lid and base. This inkwell is heavy and well made. Some gold paint has worn because of age. There is also black ink on inside and the bronze. Also remnants of black ink on the glass below the bronze rim. Numbers on bottom are either 899 or 668.
Measurements: 3-3/4" Diameter x 3" high
Inkwell stands right at 3-5/8" to top of hinged brass top.
