"YACHT" (ЯХТА) - 1955

This vintage razor was produced on the TRUD VACHA factory (ТРУД outlets ВАЧА). These razors were manufactured from the 1954 until 1968 as the majority of the ZTV razors. This razor is one of the first produced from the factory considering the manufacture year.

There were only two types of this model: one made in 50s with the square point and later on from 60s they started producing blades with Dutch point. This model has a square point which was also called a barber's point in the Soviet time shaving. This model was mainly focused on the hair salons and barbershops.

The rarity of this model is quite high and it is extremely hard to find one in NOS condition!

The quality of material used in production and overall work are much higher the regular STIZ factory blades and gave a really good shave.

The steel used in this razor is X05 (in accordance with the state standard). The handle has only one pin as a standard after 1954.

This is a rare find as the razor comes with all original pieces including brass pins and a uniquely made original handle made of nice to the touch black non-plastic material.

The overall condition is great with nice mirror polish, the razor has no chips or cracks, all lettering is clear. The razor is professionally sharpened and come shave ready (passes easily the HHT and gives a great shave)!

The blade comes in the regular size of 5/8th (17mm) with small traces of time and patina and with a total weight of 50g

The razor would be an ideal choice for a novice or a professional and would be a nice addition to the collection.
