Vintage Sphere and Cube Table Lamp, Abstract Modern Chrome Globe Lightbulb Lamp w Black Ceramic Base, 1970s-1980s outlets

This is a very cool vintage sphere and cube table lamp with superb modern abstract styling. With no online comparables at time of listing, the maker of this unmarked lamp is unknown. But modern "orb lamp" styling and electrical components suggest that the lamp dates to the 1970s or 1980s.

As shown in the last listing image, the lamp is in working condition. The lamp has a heavy ceramic block base with a gloss black glaze. The sphere is in fact a large 5 inch diameter G4 style globe light bulb. The large incandescent glass light bulb is fully chromed giving the lamp its sculptural sphere and cube appearance. The lamp stands 13 inches tall with bulb and it has a 4 inch square base. It is just over 3 pounds in weight. The lamp is in excellent vintage condition with no notable flaws and only light surface wear.

Note that the amount of life left in chromed light bulb is unknown. But replacement G40 5 inch diameter globe light bulbs are available in multiple colors from online retailers. The light bulb will be double boxed for shipping.
