A ceramic vase made by hand on a potter's wheel, with numerous decorative holes. Made of white clay with fireclay, fired in a Raku gas furnace. a unique vessel whose effect is a combination of two techniques. Obvara and glazing. The vessel is glazed with turquoise glaze inside, heated in an oven to a temperature of about 950 outlets degrees Celsius and immersed in Obvara - Slavic Raku (a mixture of kvass, flour, oat flakes and bran). These natural substances reflect on the body creating unique patterns in the colors and shades of natural earth.
This obvara dipping in ancient medieval Eastern Europe was often practiced for vessel sealing.
Ceramics, can be used as a cover for a flowerpot, lapmion for candles or tealight, or for dry bouquets of flowers, branches and other elements. It is a beautiful decoration for the interior of a home, office or gallery.
After firing and drying, it was polished with wax, which gave a satin gloss.

Measurements 10.5 cm tall, 12.0cm diameter.
This vase is without glaze and the water absorbability of the clay is quite high as the clay in this Raku firing does not reach the temperature of the sintered clay. Only suitable for dry bouquets.

Obvara;) Slavic Raku, an ancient Slavic technique of sealing vessels. Now I mainly use it for decoration. It's a mixture for bread (lots of water, flour, yeast) and additionally oatmeal.
