13 1/2 -- Pure iron ring -- outlets i12205

These tough little rings are pretty rare. They are made from an antique iron wagon wheel.
Pure iron in the name for the process that was used to make the material before the manufacture of steel was standardized.
There is still quite a bit of pure iron around and I believe it is still produced but not very much of it comes from a wagon wheel that was probably made in the 18th century.
The wheel I have is the most beautiful sample of pure iron I have come across. I will be sorry when it's gone.
I've left part of the character of the wheel on this ring.
I do still have a little bit left if you don't see your size among my rings.
