Rare Vintage Starrett outlets 81-211 Dial Indicator in Original Box

From the Starrett 81 Series, #81-211 Plain Bearings Dial Indicator manufactured by L.S. Starrett Co. Athol Mass USA. It has a Graduation of .0001", Dial Reading 0-10, & .025" Range. The needle moves freely when the plunger on the bottom is depressed. The crystal is very clear, with no scratches only tiny rust like spots. The dial face has a little yellowing due to aging, however very readable. It measures, 3 1/4" X 2", see pictures for details. This dial indicator appears to be very rare according outlets to the research that was completed and the manufacture date is unknown but believed to be at least 50 years old if not older due to the original box design. This would be quite a mint mechanic collectible!
