Hummel Goebel 'Little Bookkeeper' Figurine

This figurine was first modeled by master sculptor Arthur Möller in 1955. The incised copyright date of 1955 is found on the base. It is currently listed as “Temporarily Withdrawn” (TW) from production as of June 2002.

The figurine is crafted in porcelain and hand painted with careful attention to details. It measures 5" tall including the oval base x 2-7/8" wide x 4" long. It is marked with a pressed in "M. I. Hummel" facsimile signature (her personal stamp of approval) on top of the base and stamped on the underside with TMK-4 Three Line Bee trademark. Initialed by the painter. Made in W. Germany. TMK-4 pieces were produced from 1964 to 1972.

In Very Good vintage condition, nice and clean with no chips, nicks or cracks. Has a few dim crazing lines but it is contained on the base. Paper label is age-toned. Weight before packaging is 9 oz. No original box. Will ship boxed via USPS Priority Mail.
